Damien: Crimson Despair

Damien: Crimson Despair was presented as the final project for the conclusion of 7th generation educational program "INKUBATOR - PISMO" for "Unity/C# game developer". It was made during three monthis period by:

About this game:

Damien: Crimson Despair is a fun and fast paced action packed 2D pixel art game and as the title of the game suggests you play as Damien the vampire. Your goal is the to kill all of your foes and drink blood to manage to finish the level with one boss in the ending.

Story so far...

Your town is attacked by the demon lord Leviathan and his imps who ultimately wants to destroy Lord Damien and show him what he believes - is true definition of power.  Day has become fiery night, air is heavy, and you could almost feel that something is lurking in shadows... The moment Damien woke up, he simply knew that this is his chance to solve his problem with hunger. He doesn't care about his worst impulses, nor making the world a better place, his only mission is to destroy his worthy opponents. His despair is his food, cold heart is burning in anger. Let the hunt begin...

CONTROL SHEME

Player movement:

Use A and D for left and right running.

Use SPACE to jump, or hold SPACE to jump higher.

Use LEFT SHIFT to dash

Use button K to attack your enemies.

Collect blood potions to heal yourself. 

In this game you can wall slide, while wall sliding hold A or D in which directions you want do "wall jump".

You have 100 hp, the further you go, demons deal more damage.

Enemies: 

DeathBringer is a fast demon who is also the weakest and he deals only 5 damage to your anti-hero.

AxeDemon is also a fast creature but he has more hp and deals 10 damage.

Demon Knights are the strongest minions of Leviathan and they have a lot of hp with 20 dealing damage.

Tips for the game: 

- Try to dash through enemies to evade their fast attacks.
- Also try to attack enemies after their attack and behind their backs.
